Ionclad is a bespoke architectural roofing and cladding company that specialises in transforming premium metals into meticulously constructed systems. We incorporate traditional European methods with contemporary influences to produce unique finishes that withstand the test of time.
Our vision began in Switzerland where founder and director Nick Ions developed his passion for the traditional and unique craft of specialised roofing and façade systems. Inspired by years of elite workmanship in the industry, Nick sought to fill a niche in the Australian market-- fusing centuries of craftsmanship and systems tested for longevity with modern architectural design.
Fast-forward fifteen years and Ionclad is an industry leader; designing, fabricating and constructing some of the most complex, detailed and innovative projects on Australia’s east coast. We collaborate with architects, builders and clients from inception to final touches, ensuring that the collective vision is respected and realised in the finest way possible.
